Heimo Stix terminates employment with BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG

As per 31 March 2010 and as part of the restructuring of the BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM Group, Heimo Stix, Member of the Management Board with responsibility for the High Performance Metals Division/Production, is terminating his employment with BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG based on a mutual agreement. The Supervisory Board and the Management Board thank Heimo Stix for his many years of dedication to the Group and wish him the very best for his future endeavors.

With immediate effect, Franz Rotter will assume responsibility for the High Performance Metals Division/Production in the Management Board. The Group wishes Franz Rotter all the best in his new responsibility and is looking forward to constructive collaboration.

This change in the Management Board is being accompanied by the following changes in management responsibilities for the period remaining until 1 April 2010 when the Group’s restructured organization comes into effect:

Claus J. Raidl is responsible for the Welding Consumables Division and Horst Königslehner for the Precision Strip Division. Franz Rotter continues to be responsible for the Special Forgings Division and Karl Haider continues to be responsible for the High Performance Metals Division/Sales and Marketing.
