
The BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM workforce rose from 14,324 in 2006 by 8% to 15,453 for the 2007/08 business year. This growth resulted primarily from the expansion of production capacity, increased sales activities in numerous growth markets and a number of smaller acquisitions. In addition, the Group employed a total of 437 apprentices in 2007/08 compared to 413 in 2006.
